Cycle wear takes on many guises. Mountainbiker, Roadie or just casual town cruiser, there’s some sort of specialist cycle wear for everyone. We thought we’d cut through some of the bumf, and give you a bit of a guide to some typical cycling apparel. Where shall we start?
Cycling Jerseys – Short sleeve, long sleeve, baggy, are just a few variations in cut and style, then we get on to the materials. Merino, polyester, sportwool etc, the latter being a blend of natural and synthetic fibres, while merino is completely natural. All these materials have slightly different properties and costs associated with them, but all have their place in a cyclists wardrobe.
